The bridge of the Barqueta
is in Seville ( Andalusia , Spain ) and crosses the Guadalquivir river . It is one of the main accesses to the northern area of Isla de la Cartuja . It is close to the Science and Technology Park and the Isla Mágica theme park . It communicates the Cartuja with the Resolana and with the historical center at the height of the monastery of San Clemente.

It consists of a steel arch of 214 m. whose ends form a triangular portico on each side, cable-stayed to support the board that has a length of 168 m. whose only supports are four vertical supports at a distance of 30 m. on the banks of the river without more intermediate supports and with a width of 21.40 m.
The triangular porticos receive the axial force of the arch, visually serving as the "gate" of entrance to Expo 92, the theme park and the technology park.

engineers Juan J. Arenas and Marcos J. Pantaleón, with only one eye supported from shore to shore.
Its only arch is steel cable-stayed by the board itself. It is a suspension bridge built on land, being turned to its original location.
